Marilyn is a dear friend and colleague. We’ve worked together for many years. I won’t say how many as it is just a number, so ‘they’ say. The important part is that Marilyn most generously contributed to Understanding the silent communication of dogs.
We met through Sheila Harper, attending many of her educational and holiday courses eventually becoming part of her “team”.
I told Sheila I’d like to write a few articles and handouts for my clients and she suggested Marilyn would be the ideal person to help. The handouts soon grew into a booklet which then formed the basis of a successful book.

Our friendship grew as we worked tirelessly on the book, with clients and our own dogs, sharing many fun times along the way.
A few years ago, Marilyn rehomed Willow from the Hall Green Branch of the Greyhound Trust, where she was a volunteer. And that is another friendship which has blossomed!
