This is Tick the Cat in one of her favourite positions, glued to Colin.
Tick’s quite old now, about 15. She had a hard start in life, but a lucky escape – some factory workers found a box sealed up with tape. They cut open the box to find five kittens that had been sealed in and thrown away. The factory workers looked after the kittens, fed them up and gradually found homes for them all. Tick was the runt of the litter and the last one to be homed, she had ticks, hence the name.
She’s a timid little thing. Doesn’t go out often, prefers to stay indoors where it’s safe. Unusually for a cat, she doesn’t like climbing into boxes!
